3 injured in Hong Kong helicopter crash

HONG KONG, May 1 -- A helicopter hit a bus while landing on the

Hong Kong Kai Tak airport here on Friday, injuring three.

The small private helicopter crashed sideways-on into the parked tour bus

while coming in to land at the former Kai Tak airport in Kowloon.

The pilot, a passenger and the driver of the bus were taken to hospital

with what was reported to be minor injuries.

The rear part of the helicopter was bent, and the front of the bus was

extensively damaged.

Hong Kong Aviation Club said that two people were on board the helicopter

and an investigation on the crash was being conducted.
