Elizabeth Taylor released from hospital

BEIJING, May 27 (Xinhuanet) -- Actress Elizabeth Taylor was released from a Los Angeles hospital Tuesday and she is doing fine, her publicist said.

Dick Guttman said Taylor, 77, had been admitted Friday to an undisclosed hospital "for a routine checkup."

Taylor, an avid Twitter user, tweeted as she arrived home. "I'm home from the hospital and feeling great," Taylor's wrote in a tweet."Thanks for all the love and support!"

The actress had also posted on the online micro-blogging site Twitter the news of her hospitalization.
