The China-ASEAN Secretariat has sent invitations to enterprises from many countries, including the 10 member states of ASEAN, America, Japan and some European countries. The invitations have received warm welcome. All these countries have promised to send delegations for the Expo. SOUNDBITE: Zheng Junjian, Secretary-general of China-ASEAN Secretariat "This year we have arranged more booths, but applications are increasing, so supply for the booths has already exceeded the demand. Till now, the received applications have been far more than we've expected before." Since 1994 when the first China-ASEAN Expo was held, bilateral trade volume between China and ASEAN has been sharply increased. The total bilateral trade volume has reached 231.1 billion dollars in 2008. As analysts say, under the ongoing global financial crisis, China-ASEAN free trade area will be completed in 2010. Under the circumstances, this year's Expo in Nanning, capital of south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region will receive more attention. Xinhua News Agency correspondents reporting from Nanning.
