ISLAMABAD, Feb. 12 -- Those accused for Mumbai attacks will be tried in a Pakistani jail, private TV channel DAWN NEWS reported on Thursday. The trial is scheduled to be held in Adiala Jail in the garrison city of Rawalpindi due to security reasons, said the report. The Advisor to the Prime Minister on Interior Rehman Malik Thursday said that a First Information Report (FIR) had been filed against eight persons accused of involvement in the Mumbai attacks. He said six suspects had been taken into custody while the identities of two other suspects were yet to be ascertained. Malik vowed that Pakistan was serious to bring those behind the Mumbai attacks to justice on tenable evidence. He asked India to share more information on Mumbai attacks and assured continued support to India in the probe. |
