"Tiger" staged, A night, Jan 30's -15"

Minus -10 or -15? But, students' young smiles are warm in a night of "Tiger", Jan 30, 2010, welcoming the Luna new year.

People are greeted at entrance by a group of lady-student volunteers in Chinese Qi-Pao, -Chinese lady dress, traditionally, occasioned only on festivals ) and gathered at the college's theatre place.

People, last night in Hamilton, don't feel cold at all. They enter with members of families to the Mohawk College, where hundreds Chinese Families enjoy dances and singing, coloured by Artists from Chinese community.

A lady-president of McMaster Confucius College, is speaking in her Mandarin accent opening the night and welcoming all to be seated warm.

The president of McMaster university is holding his adopted Chinese girl on stage, giving his thanks to all making this a Chinese night. He welcomes the new year,good wishes spread in the hall in his short address.

Student volunteers organized by the Student Associations from McMaster and Mohawk worked for this show, which was assisted by various local artists enthusiasts.

Funded by business community in Hamilton, the "First-Prise" is a round trip any destinations within Northern America, sponsored by the "New Century Travel", a local Travel Agency.

Prof. Liu, ( check again ) the president of China side of Confucius College, picked the second prises. But Surprisingly, the winners from the Second to the First are all ladies.

The businesses supported the night runs from real-estate brokerages, the supermarket, sushi restaurants, dentistry, and auto service in service to the community.

Various performances arose people's emotions. Ambernies, a school band  excites her fans who rushed and cheered in return in front of the stage.

Song Xing, a major singer interprets their Iconic song called "Transparent City" . The School band is now focusing on their creations and the first album in making is also on it's way to the market.

People laughed when the music sticked and the moments were saved by an experienced host, who did interviewing on spot chatting the dancers on stage in his pure Mandarin.

His partners aside him, young, and full of vitality, freshens and colours the night.   

A modern dance, directed by Xie iia-hua, of a dance-studio named "Yang-yang", moved people in body-language, trying to express the anxiety,desire, and struggles that most immigrants felt in life soon after the "landing" on the new land.

Their body motions of the dance rewind the audience into their own life memories and put them into the intently silence, but emotionally excited inside.
